Join us for an unforgettable two-day UTV adventure through the historic and rugged Barry Goldwater Range—based out of the unique Naked Dates Oasis in Wellton, Arizona.
This exclusive event features two guided off-road loops, each packed with fascinating stops, jaw-dropping desert scenery, and military history. Along the way, you’ll discover plane crash sites, abandoned tanks, military training relics, and vast desert landscapes unlike anywhere else.
You’ll experience one loop each day, ensuring a full weekend of exploration, history, and high-adrenaline adventure.

Our headquarters for the weekend is the scenic Naked Dates — a working date farm and desert oasis. Enjoy stunning views, delicious date shakes, and spacious areas for RVs and dry camping.

Before participating in this ride on the Barry M. Goldwater Range, everyone — including passengers — must obtain the free permit. This is a mandatory requirement by the U.S. military, as we’ll be entering an active training range. Please secure your permit in advance to ensure a smooth and compliant check-in process.

All activities — including registration, trail selection, dinner, raffles, and poker card check-ins — will take place at Naked Dates Farm.
Friday – Welcome Night
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Wellton Arizona Desert Trails – Guided Off-Road Adventures
Two Rugged Loops. One Unforgettable Desert Weekend.
Join us in Wellton, Arizona, for an epic weekend of off-road exploration through some of the most remote and scenic terrain in the Southwest. With two fully guided trail rides—each offering 50 to 100 miles of rugged beauty—you’ll tackle a different adventure each day.
Ride 1: Betty Mine Loop + F-4 Phantom Crash Site Spur – 50+ Miles
This ride takes you deep into the heart of the desert, winding through the historic Betty Mine area with a special spur trail to the F-4 Phantom crash site—a powerful and humbling landmark hidden in the desert. Expect rocky sections, wide desert washes, and sweeping views as you explore this rugged, history-rich route.
Ride 2: Tinajas Altas, Cipriano Pass & Dripping Springs Loop – 50+ Miles
Venture across the Barry M. Goldwater Range on a remote and breathtaking loop that includes Tinajas Altas Pass, Cipriano Pass, and the serene Dripping Springs. Navigate narrow canyons, rugged ridgelines, natural desert tanks, and a rare desert spring. This route is as challenging as it is beautiful—an unforgettable look into Arizona’s raw, untouched wilderness.
Note: A free permit is required for all participants—including passengers—to enter the Barry M. Goldwater Range.

Hotel or RV accommodations are not included—please arrange separately.

Breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, and lunches during the event, are not provided.
What you must bring
Water: Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during off-road adventures. Pack enough water to last you throughout the day.
Spare Tire: Off-road terrain can be unpredictable. Having a spare tire is essential in case of punctures or other tire-related issues.
Spare CVT Belt: A spare Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) belt is essential for UTVs. It's a critical component, and having a spare can save you from being stranded.
Tools: Carry a basic toolkit with tools like wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other essential tools for quick repairs on the trail.
Full Tank of Gas: Before each ride or day, ensure your UTV has a full tank of gas. Off-road trails can be remote, and having ample fuel is a must.
Highly Recommended:
Communication Radios: Communication radios are invaluable for staying connected with your group, especially in areas with limited cell reception. They enhance safety and coordination on the trails.
Cell Phone: While communication radios are essential, bringing your cell phone is still important for emergency situations. Ensure it's fully charged and protected from the elements.
These must-haves and recommendations will help ensure your UTV off-road adventures are safe, enjoyable, and well-prepared for any challenges that may arise during your journey.

Passengers under 18 ride free — each needs a signed, notarized minor release (good for every UOA event that calendar year). A notary is available at each event.
