A Remote 3-Day, 2-Night Backcountry Ride to the Edge of the Grand Canyon
Get ready for one of the most remote and scenic UTV adventures in the Southwest — a 3-day, 2-night guided ride from Mesquite, Nevada to the legendary Bar 10 Ranch on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This epic ride takes you across nearly 200 miles of stunning desert terrain, red rock canyons, lava fields, and high-elevation plateaus that few ever get to experience.
What You’ll Experience:
- Start your ride in Mesquite, Nevada and travel east through rugged washes, remote high desert, and historic off-road routes
- Arrive at Bar 10 Ranch, perched on the edge of the Grand Canyon — your off-grid base for two nights of rustic luxury, hearty meals, and canyon views
- On Day 2, choose between a relaxing day at the ranch, do a scenic SXS ride with Utv Offroad adventures or participate in one of the ranch activities for an additional fee.
- On Day 3, take a different trail back to Mesquite, completing the 200-mile loop through some of the wildest terrain in Arizona

This multi-day adventure begins in Mesquite, Nevada, and takes you deep into the remote beauty of the Grand Canyon at Bar 10 Ranch. Enjoy incredible riding, great food, and unforgettable scenery on this 3-day/2-night experience.
Sunday – Check-In & Kickoff

Monday – Ride to Bar 10 Ranch

There is fuel available in Mesquite before departure and at Bar 10 Ranch upon arrival. It is highly recommended to carry extra fuel if possible.

Day 1: Mesquite to Bar 10 Ranch – 75+ Miles
Kick off your adventure riding through remote desert basins, lava rock fields, and scenic canyonlands as you make your way to Bar 10 Ranch. This challenging and scenic route delivers miles of pure off-road bliss, ending at a peaceful hideaway perched on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy a hearty meal, cozy accommodations, and sunset views that are nothing short of spectacular.
Day 2: Relax or Explore – Your Day, Your Way
Take it easy and soak in the serenity of Bar 10 Ranch. Spend the day your way—either join us for a relaxed local loop ride around the area or stay behind and unwind. Bar 10 offers horseback riding, hiking, lounging, and more. Whether you're up for a little more trail or just want to enjoy the ranch, Day 2 is all about flexibility and fun.
Day 3: Return to Mesquite – A New Route Home
On the final day, we hit the trail again—this time taking a completely different route back to Mesquite. You'll see a whole new side of the Arizona backcountry, with new scenery, trail conditions, and unforgettable sights along the way. It's the perfect way to cap off three days of adventure.

What you must bring
Water: Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during off-road adventures. Pack enough water to last you throughout the day.
Spare Tire: Off-road terrain can be unpredictable. Having a spare tire is essential in case of punctures or other tire-related issues.
Spare CVT Belt: A spare Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) belt is essential for UTVs. It's a critical component, and having a spare can save you from being stranded.
Tools: Carry a basic toolkit with tools like wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other essential tools for quick repairs on the trail.
Full Tank of Gas: Before each ride or day, ensure your UTV has a full tank of gas. Off-road trails can be remote, and having ample fuel is a must.
Highly Recommended:
Communication Radios: Communication radios are invaluable for staying connected with your group, especially in areas with limited cell reception. They enhance safety and coordination on the trails.
Cell Phone: While communication radios are essential, bringing your cell phone is still important for emergency situations. Ensure it's fully charged and protected from the elements.
