This is not just another ride. This is a true overland-style UTV adventure, where every day brings new terrain, new scenery, and unforgettable experiences with fellow riders.

From the high alpine forests near Munds Park to the historic streets of Jerome, the iconic red rocks of Sedona, and the pine covered mountains around Williams, this adventure is designed for riders who want to experience the best off-road terrain Northern Arizona has to offer.

Expect stunning views, remote trails, historic towns, incredible food, and great company along the way.

The Adventure Route

Over four incredible days we’ll cover more than 350 miles of amazing off-road terrain, linking together some of Northern Arizona’s most scenic trail systems.

Day 1

Mayer → Munds Park
Approx. 100 Off-Road Miles

We kick off the adventure in Mayer and immediately head into the mountains. The trail winds through rugged desert landscapes before climbing into the cool pine forests of Northern Arizona.

Expect scenic ridgelines, remote forest roads, and incredible views as we make our way toward Munds Park, where we’ll spend our first night.

Overnight: Munds Park Lodge

Day 2

Munds Park → Williams
Approx. 80 Off-Road Miles

Day two takes us through miles of beautiful forest terrain as we ride across the Coconino Plateau toward the historic town of Williams.

This ride features classic Northern Arizona riding — towering pines, wide open meadows, and incredible mountain scenery.

Williams is known as the Gateway to the Grand Canyon and is packed with great restaurants, Route 66 charm, and western history.

Overnight: Williams

Day 3

Williams → Cottonwood/Jerome (via Sedona)

What you must bring

Water: Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during off-road adventures. Pack enough water to last you throughout the day.

Spare Tire: Off-road terrain can be unpredictable. Having a spare tire is essential in case of punctures or other tire-related issues.

Spare CVT Belt: A spare Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) belt is essential for UTVs. It's a critical component, and having a spare can save you from being stranded.

Tools: Carry a basic toolkit with tools like wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other essential tools for quick repairs on the trail.

Full Tank of Gas: Before each ride or day, ensure your UTV has a full tank of gas. Off-road trails can be remote, and having ample fuel is a must.

Highly Recommended:

Communication Radios: Communication radios are invaluable for staying connected with your group, especially in areas with limited cell reception. They enhance safety and coordination on the trails.

Cell Phone: While communication radios are essential, bringing your cell phone is still important for emergency situations. Ensure it's fully charged and protected from the elements.

These must-haves and recommendations will help ensure your UTV off-road adventures are safe, enjoyable, and well-prepared for any challenges that may arise during your journey.
